Eoin Whelan joined CISC as a recipient of a Ph.D. Studentship in the Inter-organisational systems group at NUI Galway in October 2004, having previously worked as a management accountant in both Ireland and New Zealand. Eoin completed a Masters of Business Studies (by research) at the University of Limerick in 2002 and was awarded the Government of Ireland Scholarship in Humanities and Social Sciences for this study. This research examined the investment evaluation and total cost of ownership of e-commerce projects. Prior to this, Eoin received the award of a BBS degree specialising in accountancy and finance from the University of Limerick.
